Daddy Showkey Staging a Comeback?

Well, somebody must be calling his name. 1990s music icon, Daddy Showkey is said to be planning a comeback into the music industry after more than a decade of being away from the spotlight.

Even though Showkey released his last album in 2007, it was nothing compered to hit songs such as 'Welcome Daddy Showkey', 'Ghetto Soldier' and 'Dyna' that shot this star from Ajegunle into the spotlight in the 1990s.
Daddy Showkey told online sources: 'I have been busy with a lot of projects but by the grace of God, I'm now back to my music and I will be releasing the first single from the project very soon. After the single, the album will follow immediately.'
Well, there's another screen appearance of this musician that may not be as monumental but is also quite memorable. Remember the Transcorp adverts of 2007/2008, before shares became the elephant in the room for most Nigerians? Daddy Showkey was the brand ambassador.
